How to Install CM13 Custom ROM on LG Optimus G and Update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS
- From your computer access this page and download the CM 13 firmware file; then go here and get compatible Google Apps.
- Save both files on desktop.
- Establish an USB connection between your smartphone and your computer.
- Next, transfer the downloaded files from desktop, on your phone.
- Afterwards, unplug the USB cord as the computer is no longer needed.
- Now you have to power off your device; do so.
- Then, enter recovery mode on your LG Optimus G.
- Once in recovery, choose to make the wipe; so, select “wipe data factory reset”, “wipe cache partition” and “wipe dalvik cache”.
